You will want to update the status of the opportunity throughout its lifecycle, to reflect its progression through each stage.

This can be done quickly and easily through the opportunity’s overview.

  • Click the opportunity in the opportunity list to open its overview.
  • The left hand pane contains the opportunity’s properties. We can scroll down the list to display more properties:
  • We can now select the stage and status dropdowns to change their value.
  • Finally, we click the green Save button to keep the updated properties.
