Next, we want to represent the phone call we received from the customer in SharePortals. As the phone call is specifically related to the new opportunity we have created, we log it in the opportunity itself.

  • We first click on the Opportunities menu item from the Sales tab at the top of the SharePortals page to take us to our list of opportunities.
  • We click on our newly-created opportunity to open it and view its details.
  • We click on the Calls tab on the right-hand side of the page:
  • Currently, no phone calls have been logged against this opportunity. We click on the green Add Call button to create one.
  • This presents a form for us to fill in with details about the call:
  • With the relevant details added, we click the green Save button and our phone call has been logged against the opportunity as we required.
