SharePortals can import lists you’ve exported from other SharePoint sites. Once imported, you can add

The list you want to import should be in the root of the SharePoint site.

  • Click your profile icon in the top right hand corner of the screen, then click the Settings cog icon to go to the Settings and Preferences page.
  • Click the green Configure Lists button under Turn Custom Lists On or Off. This will display the current custom lists found in the root of your SharePoint site.
  • Click Yes under the Show in Navigation heading for the list you want to see in SharePortals, then the green Save button.

The custom list is now shown under the Other menu on the SharePortals page, and its items can now be added to, modified and deleted through the SharePortals interface.
