1.1. Architecture

SharePortals is a web application which interfaces with your Office 365 SharePoint to provide a highly-customisable CRM, underpinned by the security and standardisation offered by Microsoft.

There are three architecture options to choose from:

• Your Office 365 SharePoint communicates with a SharePortals app service hosted by Betasoft. The app service is shared, and will be accessed by multiple organisations. This is the standard option which will work for most customers.

• Your Office 365 SharePoint communicates with a SharePortals app service hosted by Betasoft. Unlike the previous option, however, the app service is provided for your organisation’s use only.

• Your Office 365 SharePoint communicates with a SharePortals app service hosted by you, and installed and configured by Betasoft. This option is suited for customers who want complete end-to-end control of their SharePortals solution.
